A smoke cloud from a wildfire rises behind the Topanga Beach houses of Bob Barrow, Peter Smith, and John and Foster Sherwood (18638 W. Topanga Beach Rd.). Wetsuits hang off the deck. Surfboards and a catmaran are stored at right.
